From its humble origins, Paris De Boutique has emerged as a leading Indian ethnic Concept Boutique. The company has completed over 67 years of excellence. Today, the company is one of the largest fashion designers in Kerala in terms of size and popularity. Paris De Boutique is a family-run business started by the late                BK Muhammad. He started the business with a tailoring shop in Broadway, Kochi, which specialised in stitching gowns and suits. It was years before India become independent. He started a new shop named Paris Tailoring Co. in 1954 at Convent road, Ernakulam. Mr. Anil Mohammad and Mr. Jamal Mohammad became the Directors of that concern. Incorporating fashion design changes over time and applying the latest techniques to create a wave in the fashion world, Paris De Boutique has become the number one boutique in Kerala.

In 1994 Paris Dress City, started the firs designer concept store at Convent Junction Ernakulam, by Anil and Jamal, the co-founders and well-known designers of the state. In 2002 Paris De Boutique established at Kanjikuzhy, Kottayam. In 2006 initiated Paris Costume Art Trichur; a high-end retail boutique introducing modern aspects of designing. In a city with a relatively negligible presence of premium brands, Paris De Boutique was the first designer store, introducing designer brands.

“Our father started this business during the Colonial times. We are mainly into women’s wear with a boutique concept. We brothers have taken over this business in 1994 and are now trying to develop our pattern”, shares Anil Muhammad ¸BK Muhammad’s son and Co-Founder of Paris De Boutique.

In the year 1994, the company opened its first designer concept store at Convent Jn, Ernakulam, under a new name Paris Dress City. In 2012, Paris Dress City rebranded itself as Paris De Boutique positioning itself as a fashion hub. Since then it has been an icon for both new and established talent and has become a destination store, dedicated to women’s wear, bridal and celebrity costumes. Now Paris de Boutique has more than twenty-five fashion designers of its own, with unique specialties. They are graduates of leading fashion design institutes in India and Abroad. They have succeeded in keeping Paris de Boutique at the forefront of women’s fashion. Paris de Boutique owns world-class stitching. Paris Costume and Designers India Pvt. Ltd. is another company operating parallel to its parent company. The only Showroom in Kerala with Shirting and Suiting of over 20 International Brands under one umbrella.

Paris is gearing up to be a part of the creation of some of the best fashion designers in the fashion design scène. A fashion designing institute is set to open in October 2021 under the name Dezynmode (Design Mode). The institute facilitated leading faculties of fashion designers in India and it is also a part of the Paris professional education system providing technical knowledge, experience and learning excellence. It also aims to pursue a degree in Design at the university level and campus at the university level. “We are also preparing a branded readymade garment for sale in India.”

Paris owns software exclusively for stitching, perhaps the first concern such method applied in India. When it comes to tailoring, Paris De Boutique prefers customisation to standardisation. To offer a more customised product to its customer and stand out against the competition, they have developed software for patterns on AutoCAD and have computerised stitching since 2000. Now Paris de Boutique has more than twenty-five fashion designers  of its own, with unique specialties. They are graduates of leading fashion design institutes in India and Abroad. They have succeeded in keeping Paris de Boutique at the forefront of fashion design. Paris de Boutique owns worldclass stitching skills.

“Our company uses software for Transactions. A state-of-the-art digital marketing system is being developed. The software system is fully utilized for customer service. CCTV system is used for the security of the organization and safety of customers.”

Recently My wife Mrs Cineena Anil joined in our operations with a new affiliate project named Designfit, and is the Managing Partner of this concern.” Anil Muhammed likes to spend time with family and explore various cuisines in his home kitchen as a leisure activity.
